Jan Blake will share myths and tales that reconnect her with her African heritage and Jamaican roots, transforming ancestral bone-memory into a source of healing and joyful self‑expression.

ABOUT THE STORY
The Girl in The Dog: A forbidden chamber is filled with hair, a girl seeks refuge in the skin of a dog… Superlative storyteller, Jan Blake, draws us into the hot, enchanted realm of Caribbean and African fairytale – where rules get bent, taboos are broken, people go astray, and family bonds are tightly tied. Expect dark encounters and surreal enchantments, as magic is done and undone to restore balance in a dynamic world of wonder.
