Backyard First Aid - Field Medicine
Natural care for the garden, trail & all your adventures
This event has finished.
Learn practical, old-world plant skills you can use in your own backyard, on the trail, or while camping. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore common plants traditionally used for everyday outdoor first aid — including support for stings, cuts, scrapes, strains, blisters and other minor outdoor mishaps. You’ll learn how to identify key plants, why they’ve traditionally been used, and simple field techniques for working with them safely and responsibly. This is not about replacing modern medicine — it’s about reconnecting with plant allies for everyday care when you’re not near your first aid kit.
