Canada Day 2026 Celebrations in Courtenay
Two days of free community celebrations, live music and family fun.
Canada Day Celebrations return to Courtenay on June 30 and July 1 with two days of free community events, live music, cultural programming, family activities, food trucks, vendors and more.
Start the celebrations early at the Night Before Concert on Tuesday, June 30 at Lewis Park, featuring Indigenous and multicultural performances, Sean Grieve Committee and Ten Souljers.
On Wednesday, July 1, enjoy the Comox Valley Concert Band, 5th Street Mile and Canada Day parade in downtown Courtenay, followed by free family activities, live entertainment, the opening ceremony, O Canada, cake cutting and children’s bike draw at Lewis Park.
Additional July 1 activities include a free public swim at the Courtenay and District Memorial Outdoor Pool, the Evergreen Tea Dance and the Courtenay and District Museum open house.
