Community in Unity

FREE, family-friendly event all about connection, inclusion, and celebrating what makes us stronger together!

Unity in Community is a FREE family-friendly event that seeks to unite people in working toward common goals, celebrating shared values, and supporting one another, regardless of their differences. It’s about fostering a sense of belonging, cooperation, and mutual respect, where everyone feels included and empowered to contribute to the well-being of the community. Coming together and valuing each person’s unique strengths and perspectives creates a stronger, more connected, and more compassionate community.

The event will feature 10 local non-profit organizations hosting interactive booths, providing information about their services, and encouraging community engagement. The Raven Radio will be on site broadcasting live!

Event Highlights:

• Interactive Booths: Each participating non-profit will host an interactive booth to engage with the community, provide information about their services, and share how people can get involved.
• Collaborative Art Project: Community painting of two benches constructed by Queneesh School students, led by artist Sue McKitrick.
• Kids' Corner: Lawn games, giant board games, bubble station, and face painting – a great space for families to enjoy.
• Snack Booth: Habitat will provide free bottled water, juice boxes, whole fruit, granola bars, and chips, but we encourage attendees to bring their own lunches to enjoy in the park.
• Bingo Card Activity: Guests will receive a bingo card upon entry, encouraging them to visit each booth. Completed cards can be submitted for a chance to win one of four $25 ReStore gift cards
