On Monday, September 15, Claude Le Doux will be the guest speaker at the CV Hort. Society meeting. Claude will share his passion for having a garden. He’ll take questions from the audience about gardening with fruit, flowers and containers.
Claude has a B.Sc. in Agriculture, with a major in horticulture. LeDoux’s love of gardening bloomed early, as a youngster growing up on a 27-acre property. He worked as a landscape consultant for many commercial and private projects. Claude recently retired from 27 years as the Parks Department Horticultural Manager for the City of New Westminster. He gives courses and lectures at Van Dusen Botanic Gardens in Vancouver; he is a Judge at various Flower Shows and shares his knowledge and passion for the garden with many Horticultural and Garden clubs.
There’s lots going on at the September meeting, not only is there an excellent speaker but there’s also our Garden Harvest Display and our AGM. Join us in bringing a Food Bank donation so we can help those in need in our community.
