At the end of winter, large schools of herring gather to spawn in shallow waters on the coast of Vancouver Island. This spectacular annual event attracts a lot of wildlife such as sea lions, seals, bald eagles, minks, river otters, and orcas. Join local professional photographer Catherine Babault who knows the right places to capture this amazing phenomenon and hone your photo skills in the field. Tours are given on land only so we have plenty of room for ourselves and our tripods.
