The Route 19A Festival takes place across a collection of welcoming community spaces located along Vancouver Island’s scenic coastal Route 19A. Each venue offers its own unique atmosphere, creating a festival experience that feels both connected and distinctly local.
Festival venues include community halls, outdoor public spaces, cultural and arts centres, and gathering places within participating towns and neighbourhoods. Some locations feature open-air stages with ocean or forest backdrops, while others provide intimate indoor settings for music, storytelling, workshops, and artisan displays.
All venues are selected for their strong connection to the local community and their ability to host diverse activities such as live performances, art demonstrations, children’s programming, and hands-on cultural experiences. Most venues are walkable, family-friendly, and accessible, with clear signage and volunteers on site to help guide visitors.
