Get your groove on to Time Well Wasted on on Sunday, August 18 at 7 p.m. as part of the free Simms Park Concert Series.
Time Well Wasted is a dynamic, 10-piece, horn-driven, disco, rock, rhythm & blues band from the Comox Valley. They have been captivating audiences for more than two decades performing the mega hits of Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Bruno Mars, Doobie Brothers, Adele, Shania Twain, Toto, Powder Blues, Chicago, Santana, Aretha Franklin and many more. This is a dance party you won’t want to miss!
The final concert of the Simms Concert Series is August 25 with Stealing Dan, an ultra-authentic homage to the great band Steely Dan, arguably the most successful rock-jazz band of the 20th century. Stealing Dan recently performed on the main stage of Vancouver Island MusicFest to rave reviews.
A Food Bank Drive will also be part of the final concert on August 25 and non-perishable food items and cash donations will be accepted.
Simms Millennium Park is located by the 5th Street Bridge and across from Lewis Park. Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket.
